MiPhi Storm 1100X external SSD is designed for creators, gamers, and pros

MiPhi’s new Storm 1100X External SSD is designed for creators, gamers, and professionals on the go. It offers sequential read speeds of up to 1100 MB/s and write speeds of 1000 MB/s. Equipped with USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, it supports transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, while also maintaining backward compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, and USB 1.1.

The Storm 1100X is built for tough conditions, featuring a sturdy metal casing with 2-meter drop protection. It uses TLC and QLC NAND flash memory and is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 70°C while withstanding storage conditions between -40°C to 85°C. It also features resistance to humidity levels from 20% to 90%. To ensure data reliability, it integrates LDPC ECC error correction, and a thermal sensor helps with optimal temperature control.

The Storm 1100X is designed to work with Windows XP and later, Mac OS 10.8 and later, as well as Linux kernel 2.4.10 and later. The 1TB version is priced at ₹12,999, with the 2TB variant expected to launch soon, all backed by a 5-year warranty.
