High on AI!

Motorola has launched the Razr 50 Ultra, a premium flip-style foldable smartphone priced at ₹99,999. Revealed last month, the device features a full-sized cover display allowing interaction with the Google Gemini assistant, eliminating the need to unfold the phone. Key features include a dual-camera setup with a 2x zoom telephoto lens and a main wide-angle sensor, along with an IPX8 rating for water resistance.

Beyond the Gemini AI features, the Razr 50 Ultra also showcases Motorola's Moto AI. Among these are generative AI tools like AI Magic Canvas, which lets you create images from text prompts, and Style Sync, which generates custom wallpapers. The camera system is also supercharged with Moto AI, offering an AI Action Shot for optimised motion capture, AI Adaptive Stabilisation to recognise and adjust for movement while filming, and an AI Photo Enhancement Engine that enhances dynamic range for more detailed images.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra features a stunning 6.9-inch pOLED main display with FHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision HDR. Complementing this is a 4-inch pOLED cover display with 1080p resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 2400 nits peak brightness.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, the phone features 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary lens with OIS and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom, while the front camera offers 32MP for high-quality selfies. The device has a 4000mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
