MS01 electric bicycle is the result of a Muji and Honda collaboration

Japan’s finest…

Although you may be familiar with Muji with regards to stationery and homeware, the brand's latest product might come as a surprise to you. Working in collaboration with Honda, the two Japanese companies have come together to launch a new electric bicycle, dubbed MS01.

Drawing design inspiration from Muji’s H-type bicycle, the MS01 sports an ergonomic, clean, simple design. The single-seat configuration is accompanied by 17in wheels, aluminium alloy handlebars, LCD instrument panel, and LED headlights at the front and rear.

Equipped with keyless unlocking, the companies claim that the bike only needs to be charged 1-2 times a week, depending on average daily use. Its power is drawn from a 400W motor and 48V lithium battery. With a top speed of 25 km/h, the bike has a cruising range of about 65 km.

Available in black and white colourways, Muji will release only 5,000 units priced at ¥4,980 (₹58,000 approx). It may not be cheap, but we can assure you it is a more reasonable two-wheeler option compared to the Bugatti 9.0.
