Nikon has taken the wraps off a new camera that's aimed at new-age vloggers. Called the Nikon Z30, this compact and portable camera is built for storytelling.
Nikon has focussed on optimizing button positioning and creating an easy user interface with dedicated focus modes, long video recording time, and quality in low lighting. A dependable tool for vloggers this camera comes with a recording indication lamp and a built-in microphone. It is capable of giving about 125 minutes of shooting time and comes equipped with Eye-Detection Autofocus and Full-time Autofocus for smoother, consistent videos.
The camera features an ISO sensitivity of up to 25,600 for videos, and up to 51,200 for still images and manages to capture minute details in a 4K UHD video with an approximately 100% angle of view. It even has Full HD 120p for slow-motion filming (cause who doesn't love a good slo-mo fall). With the same image-processing engine as the Z 7, Nikon has added a CMOS sensor enabling the camera to deliver up to approximately 11 fps in high-speed continuous shooting or approximately 5fps in the regular setting
The camera is also compatible with several accessories from the Nikon ecosystem, including Nikkor lenses, Webcams etc. Weighing just 350g, the camera is priced starting at $709 (₹56,000 approx).
