Nothing's upcoming event is called the ‘Power in Perspective’ event. From what we can see in the teaser, the smartphone retains the signature Glyph lighting and this time around it outlines the camera rings on the back. So far, every Nothing Phone has two cameras on the back - the standard main shooter paired with an ultrawide.
The teaser video also hints at space for a third camera. We might finally see Nothing stepping into the telephoto territory, bringing some proper zoom capabilities to their lineup. Reports suggest the Nothing Phone 3a can sport a – 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a new 50MP telephoto lens. Selfies should get a boost, with a 32MP front-facing camera.
The phone is tipped to get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and speedier storage. Nothing chief Carl Pei has been dropping hints about AI features. The company has reportedly been developing AI capabilities for over a year, and we might see the fruits of this work either in the Phone 3a or the premium Phone 3. Whatever the case, expect some AI-focused announcements when the device launches.
