OnePlus Buds Z2 has the same drivers as the OnePlus Buds Pro but costs half as much

Listening on a budget

You wouldn’t want to be selling TWS right now in the Indian market. Nearly every smartphone brand is cramming more and more features into their TWS, and slashing the bill lower than a meal for two at a 5-star. This TWS all-you-can-eat buffet is packed with features for a proper music listening appetite. Starting with the same 11mm dynamic drivers as the famed OnePlus Buds Pro.
The ANC comes with two modes that shush out anything from the ac vents (Faint mode: +/-25dB) to passing cars (Extreme mode: +/- 40dB). There’s also a transparency mode for when you want to hear the doorbell ring for the Swiggy delivery. You can even sweat those burgers out without troubling the buds with sweat and mild rain. The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with IP55-rated internals and hydrophobic nano-coating. OnePlus says you can give a quick rinse under the tap too because it’s IPX4 rated.
Throw in a OnePlus smartphone and you can connect seamlessly with Google Fast Pair every time you whip it out to play music or play games. The audio latency can be as low as 94ms on OnePlus devices with Pro Gaming mode enabled. The battery life is stated to be a whopping 38hrs with a Flash Charge of 10mins giving you five hours of use. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at ₹4,999, and will drop in stores starting January 17.
