With all the new OnePlus announcements floating around, we must not overlook the Nord N20 SE which has been quietly launched in China. It may not be as fancy as your 10Ts and 10 Pros, but this device packs in a whole lot on a pretty entry-level budget.
Running Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1, the Nord N20 SE sports a 6.56in LCD display, a dual rear camera setup and dual speakers. Its power is drawn from the 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of charging to 50% in about 30 minutes. This phone is a more budget version of the N20, and packs in a lower-end Mediatek Helio G35 chip.
On the camera front, you get a 50MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor on the rear and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. It is currently available in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant listed at $199 (₹15,800 approx), with sales starting on August 8. It comes with expandable storage of up to 1TB. The 2D slim-bodied handset is available in two colour options — Blue Oasis and Celestial Black. It may not be much compared to OnePlus’ big releases, but hey, it is catered to a different market, with different budgets.
