Oppo Pad Air tablet has finally debuted in India

Hold your breath

Oppo has made some big announcements this week with its Reno8 smartphone series. But it seems that isn’t the only new product in the brand’s kitty. Oppo has revealed that it will be launching a new tablet alongside these smartphones, called the Oppo Pad Air.

Sporting a 10.36in 2K display, the tablet runs on ColorOS12 for Pad. The octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor is paired with AI System Booster 2.1 for multitasking ease. The ultra-thin body highlights the sunset Dune 3D texture, and comes with proprietary Oppo glow to keep fingerprints and scratches at bay.

This Android tablet packs in a solid 7,100mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and 6GB RAM along with 64/128GB storage. It also comes with several new features like multi-device connection, two-finger split-screen for simultaneous use of multiple apps. The dual windows feature enables users to independently display two levels of pages of the same app on the same screen and a four-finger floating window for an ideal reading experience. It's clear tablets are inching towards laptops in functionality.

On the camera front, there is an 8MP single-lens rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. It also supports Dolby Audio with quad speakers onboard. There’s also Smart Stylus Pen support to provide a well-rounded experience, regardless of your needs.

The Pad will be priced starting at ₹16,999.
