These models feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 12 features a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, while the Pro version steps it up to 1,500 nits and includes Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability.

The Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are equipped with a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT600) and an 8MP ultrawide lens (Sony IMX355). However, the Pro version includes an additional 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Another notable difference is in the front cameras – the Reno 12 features a 32MP selfie shooter, while the Reno 12 Pro has a 50MP sensor.

Oppo is promoting the Reno 12 series as AI-driven smartphones. Key generative AI features include AI Writer, which assists in writing posts, comments, and captions; AI Speak, which reads aloud any web page; and AI Summary, which can summarise both text and audio recordings.

The Reno 12 comes in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, whereas the Reno 12 Pro offers 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Both models are powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. The Oppo Reno 12 starts at ₹32,999, while the Reno 12 Pro begins at ₹36,999. Both models will be available for purchase starting July 18.
