Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G launched in India, priced at Rs 39,999

Available for pre-orders

Probably one of the most anticipated devices in the mid-budget section, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is finally here and it promises the stars well. It actually comes in a stunning Startrails Blue and Starry Black.
The obsession with the cosmos doesn’t just end there, the phone packs an ‘Orbit Breathing Light’ that lights up the camera module and looks downright awesome. The triple camera setup at the back however is the real star here, and it features a 50MP unit backed by the Sony IMX766 sensor, a 2MP Macro unit and an 8MP ultra-wide cam.
The front features a 32MP cam with the Sony IMX709 sensor which essentially is an RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, and White) sensor that was jointly developed by Sony and OPPO. It is 60% more sensitive to light and reduces noise by 30% when compared to the traditional RGGB (Red, Green, Green and Blue) sensor found on the Reno6 Pro. Of course the Bokeh Flare Portrait Video and AI Highlight Video along with the good old Portrait Mode are all onboard.
Running the show is a customised 5G chipset – MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX. What’s so customised about it? Oppo has incorporated AI Deblur technology into the chipset. This proprietary deblurring algorithm sharpens faces in portraits affected by hand-held shaking. Additionally, the AI-PQ (picture quality) feature baked into the SoC enhances colour and contrast in HDR videos. It uses artificial intelligence to distinguish the subject matter on the screen—whether people, food, grass, sky, buildings, etc—and then uses different colours, sharpness, and other display effects for optimum output.
The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is available at Vijay Sales (online and offline) for ₹39,999 for the 12GB|256GB config.
