Oppo has just announced the launch of the Reno 8 Series in India. After quite a build-up, the company has finally revealed it all.
The series will pack on the MediaTek processors and will be more than adequate for gaming. This, paired with its proprietary battery charging technology and device cooling, make the smartphone one to watch out for.
The series currently has two confirmed models – the Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. The Oppo Reno 8 Pro will be powered by a Dimensity 8100-MAX processor, while the Reno 8 will be backed by Dimensity 1300. Both models will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery with 80W Supervooc Flash Charge technology. This allegedly enables 50% battery life in 11 minutes of charging, with a five-minute charge lasting up to two hours of gaming.
When it comes to cooling, the phone features Oppo’s Ultra-Conductive Cooling System that adopts Ultra-Conductive Graphite, this new material capable of improving cooling performance by 45% over traditional graphite. The Reno 8 is priced at ₹29,999, while the higher-end Reno 8 Pro is priced at ₹45,999.
