With the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 making their way to the Indian market, Oppo has just launched the Oppo Watch 3 series to compete in this highly in-demand sector.
The Oppo Watch 3 Pro is the first device in the world using a single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 architecture. The watch also packs in a second Apollo 4 Plus chip. Created using LTPO technology, the watch allows for a very wide range of support for a dynamic frame rate change. Sporting a 1.91in LTPO, curved, Always-On Display, the watch weighs in at 37 grams and has an aluminium case that is 12.75 mm thick.
When it comes to features, this model crams in over 100 different workout modes. For monitoring vital health data, the watch is capable of recording ECG with automatic analysis of cardiovascular pathology in addition to heart rate and SpO2 sensors.
All these features are backed by a 550mAh battery which can give up to five days for continuous use when all device functionalities are on (otherwise up to 15 days). Additionally, 10 minutes of charging can give you up to 24 hours of life. This watch will be available in Platinum Black or Desert Brown.
The regular variant, the Oppo Watch 3 comes with a 1.75in AMOLED screen with a resolution of 430 x 372 pixels and packs on a 400mAh battery.
Both watches support eSIM functionality, 80+ commonly used apps, continuous blood oxygen monitoring, multi-dimensional tennis exercise recordings and several other sports modes. It keeps getting better, the Oppo Watch 3 series comes with over 150 new watch faces, the Healthy Pixie Guide, Family Care Mode, and other smart features. This model comes in two colour variants – Platinum Black or Feather Gold.
The Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro come with an option for a Viton or a leather strap and are priced starting at ¥1,499 (₹17,650 approx) and 1899 (₹22,360 approx) respectively.
