The Pokemon Company just announced a campaign called Pokemon Festivities, and while we don’t cover marketing campaign stuff here at Stuff, this one is just too adorable and astonishing to pass. The Pokemon Company has launched a special Indian look for Pikachu. The female Pikachu will wear a pink saree and the male will don a navy blue kurta with a beige vest. Between November 1st to 4th, 2024, Pokémon Go will feature Pikachu’s Indian look along with special bonuses.
There is also a collaboration with Yakult as well. Limited edition gift boxes will be available until October 31, 2024. The box will feature Pikachu in traditional attire and these will be offered with the purchase of Yakult bottles, delivered by over 250 Yakult ladies across urban areas (Mostly Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore). A combination of three flavours that include Yakult Original, Yakult Light, and Yakult Light Mango can be selected to create a customizable set and will cost Rs. 336 and Rs. 400 depending on the flavour combinations.
