Poco has launched its latest X5 Pro 5G in India. And even though the internet has been buzzing about the features and leaks about its price and design, here’s what the brand officially states about the smartphone.
The Poco X5 Pro 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset which is built on 6nm architecture and an Adreno 642L GPU that, as per the brand, offers 40% improved performance than its predecessor. As for software, the Poco X5 Pro 5G runs on Android 12 with MIUI 14.
Featuring a 6.67in Xfinity display with extremely slim bezels, the smartphone comes with support of Dolby Vision. Furthermore, its 10-bit display provides more than 1 billion colors and has a 120Hz Refresh Rate. There are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, in addition to support for hi-res audio and hi-res audio wireless.
As for optics, the Poco X5 Pro 5G is touted as the first smartphone in India to feature a 108 MP primary camera sensor (in this price range). Supporting the 108MP sensor are 8MP ultra-wide snapper with 120 FOV and 2MP Macro sensor. So be it a wider field of view or nuanced details, Poco's got you covered.
Moving on to design, the smartphone retains the signature Poco design, however this time there is a new color variant: the Horizon Blue, in addition to Astral Black and POCO Yellow. The brand also claims that at 181 grams and 7.9mm, the Poco X5 Pro 5G is the lightest and thinnest X-series ever. Thinking how much to pay to get one?
