The Red Bull M.E.O. returned for a fifth season to host this global competitive celebration of mobile gaming. It was a stage for India’s top esports teams to come face to face to battle it out across three titles– Pokémon Unite, Clash of Clans and World Cricket Championship 3.
The event was held on Sunday, 20th November and had two qualifying rounds which took place earlier in October. The top 4 teams from each of the qualifiers progressed to the playoffs which were held from 28th October to 1st November. Finally, the top 2 teams from the playoffs played the India Finale.
In totality, there were a whopping 176,000 gamers who participated in the Red Bull M.E.O. The India Finale was held at Sunder Nursery in New Delhi and brought along with it a meet and greet with some of the biggest names in Indian gaming including Techno Gamerz, Ankit V3nom Panth, Jonathan, etc.
