Rode NTH-100 is the first pair of headphones from the mic-maker

If you’ve been running around shoving your camera into people's faces, chances are, you’ve also shoved a Rode in someone. We just mean it’s the most popular mic choice out there, but the brand is debuting its first-ever over-ear headphones now. The NTH-100 is built to exacting standards that their mics are known for, they don’t get anything fancy in audiophile terms, but they do feature CoolTech gel in the ear cup cushions to save your ears getting baked into muffins after a long day of shoot.

The headband and the ear pads are covered in luxurious Alcantara, which is a suede-like material more commonly seen in high-performance sports cars. Since memory foam has been used for the ear cups, there is a degree of noise isolation provided, even though there is no active ANC on offer. Aimed at professionals, they are also available only as a wired option and includes a 2.4mm and a 3.5mm to quarter-inch adapter.
