After launching a Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokémon edition, Samsung has given another product the manga treatment. This new device is the Galaxy Buds 2 Pokémon edition, and it’s launched in South Korea.
The buds now nestle in a Poké Ball carrying case, and they get a strap. Buyers also get a set of 11 limited-edition stickers with the package, which feature popular characters from the show, such as Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Ditto, Dragonite, Lapras, Eevee, Gengar, and Mew.
The Buds are available in five colours – onyx, olive, white, lavender, and graphite. The rest of the features and specs remain the same. So you get 6.5mm drivers, dynamic two-way speakers that produce audio, and provide three levels of ambient sound settings.
They also feature a water-resistance rating of IPX2, and use Bluetooth 5.2 to stay connected to your phone. Battery life is up to eight hours on a single charge, which can be boosted to 20 hours with the charging case. Just five minutes of charging can give you usage of up to 55 minutes.
The case is also compatible with the Galaxy Buds Pro and Live, and supports Qi wireless charging. Samsung’s website lists the limited edition for ₩134,000 (approx ₹8,214). But, you might need to travel to Korea to get one yourself, as Samsung hasn't made any announcement for the rest of the world.
