Temperature is soaring and so is pollution. Firecrackers are still being burnt, stubble is still being smouldered and of course we can't forget the ever-increasing industrial pollution. Feeling like a sitting duck, (at the risk of being offensive) we are actually no more than that. So what now? The only thing we can do apart from mending our own conduct is buying an air purifier. The good part: there are numerous options to choose from.
The latest to hit the shelves is Samsung’s new line-up of IoT-enabled air purifiers that, as per the brand, are ideal for spaces up to 645 sq ft. The range has two variants – AX46 and AX32. Both the models come with a one-button control system, multi-layered high efficiency purification mechanism that removes 99.97% nano-sized particles, ultrafine dust, bacteria, allergens and formaldehyde.
The purifier can also be controlled remotely via the Samsung SmartThings App, plus you can also check the quality of the air, manage other functions and turn the device on and off for optimum energy consumption through the app.
Individually, the AX46 model comes with a Numeric Easy View Display and a Laser PM 1.0 sensor that monitors air quality in real time and identifies gaseous contaminants. The display also shows the level of PM 1.0/2.5/10 pollutants and the overall air quality level with a 4-colour indicator.
Samsung’s AX46 and AX32 air purifiers come in two colour variants – Beige and Grey at a price of ₹ 32,990 and ₹ 12,990 respectively.
