The PlayStation 5’s all-white avatar is not for everyone, and may not match everyone’s home decor or gaming vibe. To help add some colour into your gaming setup, Sony is set to release three new covers for the PS5.
First announced last year, these covers are inspired by our Galaxy, and are designed to match the DualSense colour options. Sony introduced the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red covers towards the end of last year, and will now be bringing three more colours next month – Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.
The decal plates are currently available in select countries for pre-order including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg and will begin shipping out next month. The rest of the world should expect the release sometime around June 17.
These covers or faceplates as some might call them are quite easy to use and swap. Simply pull the existing covers from the edges till they pop out, and reverse the process to attach the new cover. Sony’s new covers are compatible with the PlayStation 5 disc and digital editions. India pricing and release dates are yet to be announced.
