Tata Curvv EV concept unveiled with up to 500km range

A curveball from the future

There seems to be no stopping Tata Motors from charging ahead of its rivals in the Indian EV space. After the popular Nexon EV, the brand has taken the wraps off a new concept electric vehicle, called Tata Curvv.
As per Tata Motors, the Curvv EV concept will take about two years to be production-ready. Interestingly, it will first launch as an electric vehicle, and then in petrol and diesel variants. On launch, it will be placed above the mid-size SUV and below the premium SUV segments.
The design language is called ‘Digital’, and the concept is based on a reengineered X1 platform. It features a coupe-like styling with a sloping roofline, a squared-up back end, and aerodynamic wheel design.
Second-gen Ziptron under the hood will offer a driving range of up to 500km. Next-gen AC and DC charging will offer greater speeds and more efficient charging. Tata Motors is also set to use edge computing for seamless connectivity.
Needless to say, it will be packed with convenience features including twin digital infotainment and instrument screens, panoramic sunroof, electronic tailgate, HVAC digital controls, and a steering wheel with an illuminated logo and capacitive buttons.
