The Ducati Futa is the electric bicycle of your dreams

It comes with a dreamy price tag too

The Ducati Futa is the brand’s first electric road bike ready to take on the race. It’s designed to ride fast and efficiently and to help that Ducati has used a carbon fibre monocoque frame that has a sports endurance geometry with technical choices aimed towards aerodynamics and speed!

The compact rear stay, with lowered sheaths, makes the bike comfortable, while generating less aerodynamic drag. The rear triangle is rigid laterally, precisely by virtue of the choice of the position of the sheaths and favours a better transmission of power to the wheel, as well as increasing the responsiveness of the bike. Down tube, seat post and fork sliders are expertly profiled and their reliefs are highlighted by the play of colours of the livery which sees grey and black as the main colours with accents in Ducati Red.

The Ducati Futa weighs just 12.5Kg and comes with a 250Wh battery with an optional extender pack. The claimed range figures are upto 80Kms on a single charge with the FSA System HM 1.0 motor putting out 42 NM of torque and providing 250W of electric assist. A K Force WE groupset featuring a 2×12 speed wireless electronic shifting setup is paired to the rear hub motor which means there’s nothing physical between you and the transmission and everything is taken care of by electromagnetic waves.

Quite cool yeh? So is the price at approximately $13,200 (approx 11,00,000).
