Rockstar Games has dropped the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI). The game is set to hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S in 2025. PC launch has not been confirmed yet.
The trailer flaunts classic GTA elements - high-speed cars, daring gunfights, bundles of illicit wealth, and an overall American-style indulgence - all unfolding in the state of Leonida with Vice City and more, a Miami-inspired fictional landscape. It also confirms the setting in Vice City and introduces the franchise's first female lead, a woman by the name of Lucia.
Seemingly, Lucia, initially seen in a prison jumpsuit, will embark on criminal escapades alongside her lover following her release. The press release also has a very brief description of the game itself. “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet,” Rockstar says.
