The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Coupé is the V12 engine’s swansong

Beauty in the garage, beast on the streets…

If you haven't heard of the Lamborghini Aventador, it’s time to crawl out from under that rock and take a peek at one of the most powerful and stunning road cars you will ever lay eyes on. The Aventador Coupe will be the final step for the V12 engine and an ode to its decade of greatness with this last production model.

Showcasing the purest qualities of all Aventador editions, this car is set to be a flawless ending. Sporting a shade called Voila Pasifae, a single-tone purple configuration. With lines and details such as the front splitter’s outline and ‘teeth’ picked out in purple, the accent line continues along the car creating matching accents on both rear fins of the visible carbon-fibre rear diffuser. This configuration features Bronzo Oreadi full livery with Bronze Calipers.

This twelve-cylinder, 6.5-litre ‘Longitudinale Posteriore’ (LP) engine delivers 780 CV to its permanent four-wheel drive. With an extremely rigid and lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque, and carbon-fibre heavy body, the car has a dry weight of just 1,550 kg. It has a weight-to-power ratio of 1.98 kg/CV capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The top speed (as you would expect from a Lambo) is a whopping 355 km/h with 720 Nm of torque at maximum 6750 rpm. It even has Dynamic Steering and a CCB braking system that delivers 100 km/h to a standstill in just 30m (an arguably more important stat for the Indian roads).

The Lamborghini has incredibly complex aerodynamics to maximize performance and handling. It has four drive modes including the Strada, Sport and Corsa dynamic options, and also the EGO mode which allows you to pick your own parameters for an optimum set-up.

The interiors are just as fancy with a customizable TFT digital dashboard, displays driver modes, controls in-car connectivity and with voice-assistance courtesy of Apple CarPlay. For audio, they pack in Lamborghini Sensonum with 2 high-performance on-door woofers, 2 dashboard-mounted tweeters and a 4x135 watt full digital D amplifier for an enhanced audio experience.

The price for the car hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s simple… when it comes to Lamborghinis, you can either afford it or you can’t even fathom it.
