The new Nokia G60 is eco-friendly and has cool features

Recycle or Die!

Nokia just expanded its G-series with the launch of the first-ever 5G ready smartphone – the G60. The dual sim phone is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC, comes with a 50MP Triple AI rear camera setup and three-years of hardware as well as software support. But what's most interesting about this smartphone is that it is the most eco-friendly G-series device till date.

As per the brand, the device is designed and crafted from a high percentage of reprocessed materials. The polycarbonate back cover is made of 100 percent recycled material and the frame is made of 60 percent recycled polycarbonate. Moreover, its packaging also has an increased amount of recycled content and uses FSC-certified materials (so an extra point from us).

Looks-wise the Nokia G60 is pretty decent, it sports a 6.5in Full HD+ screen along with 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The display also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It is based on Android 12 and runs on a Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and has a 4,500 mah battery. On the rear, the smartphone has a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth unit along with an 8MP front camera. It is laced with interesting camera features like AI Portraits, Dark Vision and Capture Fusion which allows more detailed ultra wide shots.

Priced at ₹ 29,999, this device comes in two colour variants - Black and Ice.
