The Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti is 52% faster than the Titan RTX

Is that a lot? Maybe. Surely. Can we buy it?

We knew this was coming and now Nvidia has finally pulled the curtain on their top tier GPU. The Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti has dropped and it’s fast, but how fast? If you’re thinking about whether the RTX 3090 Ti will run circles around the competition then you’ve come to the right place. Although, in Nvidia’s case that competition is pretty much with itself. According to Nvidia, the 3090 Ti is on average 64% faster than the RTX 2080 Ti, 52% faster than the Titan RTX and 9% faster than the previous RTX 3090.

As for the insides of the RTX 3090 Ti, it’s packing 10,752 CUDA cores,  78 RT-TFLOPs, 40 Shader-TFLOPs and 320 Tensor-TFLOPs of power. Along with 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM. If all that went above your head then don’t worry, the RTX 3090 Ti is not meant to be plonked in a mid-range gaming PC. It’s for the content creators, animators, data scientists and folks trying to crack the next AI mumbo jumbo. It’ll be interesting to see how the GPU performance compares against the might Apple M1 Ultra

It’s got the processing horsepower so might as well put it to use for business applications, right? Your Elden Ring ambitions can wait. Although for $1,999 USD you better have Ambani’s wallet or a serious reason to bag one for just gaming.
