The Sennheiser Ambeo gears up for the competition

The Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar gets fresh new updates and now supports  both Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. The new Ambeo OS also has brought about a change and now uses WiFi instead of Bluetooth Low Energy to connect to the Smart Control App. Sennheiser claims this makes operations slicker and smoother and also more reliable. The Smart Control App has also been re-designed from the ground up and promises a cleaner look and more intuitive user controls. The app also offers new features for Sennheiser headphones – Sound Check helps you find the perfect EQ preset for you, while Sound Zones lets you tweak the settings for various scenarios and locations, like home, office and on the go. The one thing about the Ambeo that hasn’t been tinkered with is its award winning sound quality and of course the eye-watering price tag. But armed with the new updates, it sure makes its case.
