With the much awaited release of season four of Stranger Things, Timex designed a new version of three 1980’s classics – Timex Camper, Timex T80 and the Timex Atlantis – with a twist from the Upside Down.
The makers of the spine-chilling sci-fi-horror-drama have partnered with Timex to create period specific, storytelling, special edition watches, with standout features.
The iconic analog Timex camper, showcases a 40mm oversized case with all the numbers on the dial inverted, as an ode to the Upside Down. The watch also comes equipped with a blood-red backlight revealing a hidden Demogorgon image on its dial. You can see this watch sported by Lucas Sinclair in season four of the show.
The digital models – T80 (34mm) and Atlantis (40mm) – are the ones we’ve seen Sheriff Hopper wearing in previous seasons. These timepieces both feature a customised alarm, which plays the Stranger Things theme music. The watch also sports a backwards number ‘3’ when the watch displays 3:00 PM, for reasons only time will tell…
