Titan EyeX smart glasses too little too late?

Many have tried (and failed) to peddle their version of “smart” glasses to the always-on citizens of the world, and now it’s Titan’s turn. The EyeX features open-ear speakers to whisper notifications or navigation instructions and listen to music without sealing off the surroundings like you would with in-ear headphones. 

Featuring a Qualcomm processor, the EyeX will work with both Android and iOS smartphones via an accompanying app and it’s built-in pedometer will also give you basic stats like step count, distance and calories spent. 

The starting price of ₹9,999 is only for the frames and if you need prescription glasses, you’ll need to shell out extra. If you fancy sporting a Clark Kent look, the EyeX will be available at Titan Eye+ retail stores and their official website.
