Today, Ubisoft debuted the gameplay footage for Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence. This free-to-play third-person shooter RPG features a campaign independent of Tom Clancy’s The Division 1 and Division 2, taking on a new perspective when it comes to key story events.
Set in contemporary post-crisis America, a virus outbreak has created chaos and forced the collapse of the government (sounds like covid all over again). You take on the role of an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division with a mission to restore peace, protect civilians against hostile factions, and help them build a better future. It’s pretty much The Division squeezed into mobile gameplay.
The latest gameplay footage shows agents from the Division confronting enemies in the streets of New York. The game has been reworked and reimagined for mobile devices, with the controls and user interface looking very familiar to PUBG, Apex Mobile or Call of Duty. You can sign up right now for the Closed Alpha tests of The Division Resurgence starting today. You can play it in either solo or co-op and also participate in a variety of PVE activities, from story missions to world activities.
There’s also looting, crafting, character customization and gear management to do when you’re not shooting enemies. All you have to do is now download it on iOS or Android devices.
