Vivo Watch 2 is a feature-packed smartwatch on a budget

But you can’t buy one…yet

Vivo entered the smartwatch space with its first Watch last year, and now it is back with a successor. Sporting a traditional circular watchface, the new Vivo Watch 2 is packed with features, and yet not too heavy on the pockets.

The Watch 2 comes in only one size (46mm), and has a 316L stainless steel body. Feature-wise you get a 1.43in OLED display with near-invisible bezels, and two physical buttons on the right side. The straps are changeable, and you can take the watch for a swim courtesy of the 5ATM water and dust resistance.

The smartwatch can track up to 47 sports modes, and even accurately tracks sleep (including afternoon naps). There’s a built-in SOS emergency mode to send alerts to the fire or police departments and the hospital. Powering the watch is a 510mAh battery that is said to last up to seven days.

As for pricing, the Vivo Watch 2 costs 1,299 yuan (approx ₹15,300), and it is available in Silver Wing, Breaking Dawn, and Force Black colours. The only catch is that it has launched in China, with no word on an India launch yet.
