Vivo is kicking off 2022 with the launch of an affordable smartphone. Called Vivo Y21T, it offers a bunch of features like a large display, big battery, and a 50MP primary camera. All this for a price tag of ₹16,490.
The Vivo Y21T features a standard candybar design with a tear-drop notch at the top, and thin-ish bezels. The back is quite minimalist as well with just the camera housing standing out at the top-left corner.
As for features, you get a 6.58in FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, and an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC under the hood. You also get 128GB storage, 4GB RAM with an additional 1GB virtual RAM, triple camera setup (50MP+2MP+2MP) at the back, and an 8MP camera up front.
The dual-SIM device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and for safety there’s a fingerprint sensor on the side. It runs Android 11 out-of-the-box with FunTouch OS 12 on top, but there’s no 5G support.
