Xiaomi and Leica collaborate to launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra

Cameras at the ready!

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is finally here and it's got more cameras than an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians! With a quad-camera system and a 1in main camera sensor inspired by Leica lenses, this phone is sure to take some killer shots.

Sporting a 6.73in WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with 2600 nits peak brightness, this phone packs on in-display heart rate monitoring, so you can keep track of your heart rate while you're scrolling through Instagram.

That said, the cameras are the true USP of this device. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra boasts a 50MP primary camera that supports Hyper-OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide, telephoto, and super-telephoto lens. These sensors can cover focal lengths ranging from 12mm to 120mm. If that's not enough to blow your mind, the primary camera can switch between an f1.9 to f4.0 aperture! It also has a 32MP selfie shooter and a new "Fast shoot" mode that allows you to take "focus-free" snapshots in just 0.8 seconds. Who needs a photographer when you've got this phone, right?

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is powered by the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and can pack up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. To make sure it doesn't overheat, it's got an active Loop liquid cooling technology. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also has a 5000mAh battery and supports 90W wired turbo-charging, 50W wireless turbo-charging, and reverse wireless charging.

Additional perks include a soft antibacterial silicone leather back, so you can feel fancy and germ-free at the same time! It also has a Video Kit accessory - because who doesn't want to turn their phone into a full-on camera module? It's like Transformers but for your smartphone! All in all, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is priced to compete with the big dogs like Samsung and Apple, so if you want to ball on a budget, this is the phone for you.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is priced aggressively to compete with the likes of the Samsung S23 Ultra and the iPhone 14 Pro. It starts at RMB 5,999 (₹71,600 approx.) for the 12G+256G and up to RMB 7,299 (₹87,000 approx.) for the 16GB+1TB model.
